Launch Sports Performance programs are unique in that we specifically evaluate the biomechanics of each athlete to ensure that each athlete begins and ends with a fundamentally sound program design. More importantly, our program design is based on the concept of periodization( period of season, periods of progression, periods of work, periods of rest). A fundamentally sound program design needs to incorporate this concept in order to reduce the risk of overtraining and subsequent injury by allowing the body to train at the right times and at the right intensity. This in essence maximizes performance.
